7/29/2012 - EAF Sierra Nevada Camping/Fishing Trip

Our students in the Los Angeles program enjoyed a few days away from the hustle and bustle of the big city in exchange for some fishing, hiking, and camping. They even came across an old gold mine!! The students were also able to visit Manzanar; A National Historic Site. Manzanar War Relocation Center was one of ten camps where Japanese American citizens and resident Japanese aliens were interned during World War II. Sounds like a pretty neat history lesson. We would like to give many thanks to Mark Fuchs of Juniper Insurance for setting this all up!
