Joe Killinger, Founder

Joe Killinger has been involved in real estate for the past 15 years and has committed his time to philanthropic ventures for the past six years. Killinger started O.P.M. Investments, a real estate holding company, while managing the real estate auction division for Fred Sands Realtors. He was a project manager for Kennedy-Wilson Inc., the largest real estate auction company in the United States, and one of the largest commercial real estate management companies. Before entering the auction business, Killinger owned and operated a real estate development company, specializing in the acquisition and rehabilitation of high-end homes in the Los Feliz and La Canada areas of Los Angeles. He has also served as the CFO of United Universe, an environmental non-profit agency. He attended the University of Nebraska.

George Pino, Founder

Prior to creating Education Advantage Foundation, George Pino co-founded O.P.M. Investments. He was the Senior Director of business development for The Sands Group, the real estate auction division of Fred Sands Realtors. During his tenure there, he was responsible for targeting potential auction marketing opportunities, and conducting feasibility studies of the properties. Before working at The Sands Group, Pino was the manager for the closing department of Kennedy-Wilson Inc. His responsibilities included working as a liaison with developers and sellers while tracking the closings of the auction sales. Additionally, he oversaw the opening of offices in New York, Massachusetts, Texas, Chicago and Pleasanton (Northern California). During his tenure at Kennedy-Wilson Inc., Mr. Pino was personally responsible for the sale, and/or directly involved in the marketing of over 5,900 assets in over 12 states. Pino is a graduate of USC.
